Invitation to Tender Municipality of the District of Guysborough PV SOLAR DESIGN/BUILD MUNICIPALITY OF THE DISTRICT OF GUYSBOROUGH Sealed tenders plainly marked “23-24 – PV Solar Design/Build, Municipality of the District of Guysborough” will be received at the Office of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough at P.O. Box 79, 33 Pleasant St., Guysborough N.S., B0H 1N0 (Phone: (902)533-3508) until 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 The work under this project shall generally comprise but not necessarily be limited to provision of all labour, materials and equipment for the design, supply and installation of PV Solar Systems at each of the locations above. This shall include the operation and maintenance of the PV system for four (4) years following the end of the defects and liability period. The scope shall also include, but not be limited to, securing all permits and approvals from statutory agencies, all labour, taxes and services, permit fees, and equipment necessary to produce a fully operation PV system at each location. In responding to this RFP, the proponent shall provide a fixed price fee quotation based upon their experience with this type of work. The proposal shall contain a detailed explanation of the entire project and delineation of all work tasks to be preformed by the awarded proponent. Digital copies of Contract Documents are available free of charge upon request from SEL (dmyette@straiteng.com). Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of 10 % of the bid amount, or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 % of the bid amount and a Consent of Surety for the required fifty percent (50%) Performance Bond and fifty percent (50%) Labour and Materials Bond.
