Retaining Wall Rehabilitation Highway 7 (Y.R. 7), 650 m east of Markham Rd (Y.R. 48) in Markham

Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK:   The Work includes, but is not limited to, the rehabilitation of a retaining wall (07-40 R0699) at Highway 7 (Y.R. 7), 650 m east of Markham Road (Y.R. 48) in the City of Markham, as further described in Appendix C – Form of Contract. Bidders are advised that the Work will be performed during the 2024 construction season.

Bidders are reminded of the two (2) contract limit as further described in the RFPQ documents for RFPQ Nos. RFPQ-1350-23 and RFPQ-1363-23, under Section 1.1. Invitation to Respondents.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT(S):

• CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any proposals received from proponents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR™) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
• DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $40,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.  Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid.
