RFP for Strategic Planning

Reconnect is seeking a Proponent to provide consultancy services to work alongside the senior leadership team to assess the current state of affairs, identify limitations and opportunities and to work collaboratively to develop a strategic plan to set the direction of the organization for the coming years. The development of this plan would capitalize on the existing operations structure and positive work culture.

As part of the Agreement with Reconnect Community Health Services, a successful Proponent would be required to provide the following services listed below:

• Meet with Senior Leadership Team to perform initial discovery work that will set the strategic direction for the organization;
• Determine the current state in community healthcare and assess the organizational current state to identify alignment and opportunities for continued harmonization of broader healthcare priorities. This will be done primarily through the review of Reconnect documents and sector specific documents.
• Work with Reconnect to consult with internal and external stakeholder groups as part of the strategic planning process. These groups would include:
o The Executive and Senior Leadership Team
o The Board of Directors
o Management Team
o Staff
o Clients
o Volunteers
• Identify gaps and opportunities for service delivery improvements;
• Assist with the development of Key Performance Indicators and Scorecards where applicable for ongoing assessment and monitoring of strategic initiatives;
• Develop a final high-level organizational Strategic Plan for approval by the Board of Directors.

Out of Scope: Operational plans, strategic plan implementation and any associated training.

Reconnect aims to select and begin engagement with the successful proponent by July 1, 2024 for a 6-months period with the final report expected by December 31, 2024.
