DESCRIPTION OF GOOD(S)
Many of our cash registers across the province are past their useful life. In many cases there is no information or knowledge on how to access reports or program the till. Many of our sites do not have pre-programmed keys so have to remember and recall prices quickly upon service. Nutrition & Food Service requires a Cloud Based Pont of Sale system fully integrated with Moneris debit/credit card processing. Our goal is ease the work load and stress for all staff by providing pre-programmed touch keys for each item. Below is a list of the functions the POS must be able to do.
program cash registers across the province from a central back office (Saskatoon) – this includes: menu changes, price changes, screen layouts
ability for managers to access site reports
ability for retail managers to access reports and analyze data; per site or rolled up provincially
Cloud based – doesn’t rely on a server
Standard approach to handling Indigenous Services Canada, meal vouchers. This requirement is the most important part of the new system as we are looking to significantly improve this program. Currently there are many inefficiencies and flaws in the system. We are looking for creative ways to enhance the customer experience but also decrease the workload and double handling of information by our Office Admin. and by Finance staff.

continue to operate in the event we have a disconnect with the internet
future initiatives of interest are: mobile ordering and payment and a mobile loyalty point program.
