Managed Monitoring Detection and Response Services

This Request for Services (the “RFS”) is an invitation by the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement (SBP), Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) and Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation (SCIC) (the “Client”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Managed Monitoring, Detection, and Response Service (MMDRS), as further described in the RFS Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
The Client has existing contracts to deliver these services; however, those engagements are expiring.

The security programs for SBP, SLGA and SCIC are built around best in class security products with an enterprise security service that can be leveraged to monitor all aspects of the environment. The technologies and delivery model are built to be flexible and scalable to allow the organisations to adapt to security business needs as required.

By implementing a one-government approach to cyber security, SBP, SLGA and SCIC will best serve the citizens of Saskatchewan. Deploying an enterprise solution provides consistency and aligns common security goals for all three entities of this engagement. Having the ability to leverage economies of scale will be realised as a cost savings in the procurement and maintenance of the services acquired. The opportunity arose for SBP, SLGA and SCIC to work together to coordinate security services and if successful could mean more collaborative competitions with Public Service entities in the future.
