Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to replace two outdated R22 air conditioning units with two new, compatible, and more environmentally friendly units.

Objectives: To replace the existing air conditioning units, that can no longer hold refrigerant, and are currently only able to function at fifty percent capacity, with two fully functional air conditioning units.

Deliverables:
• The Contractor must remove all existing R22 refrigerant from each existing unit and dispose of it as per current Environmental regulations.
• The Contractor must remove existing compressors, condensers, evaporators, supply, return and control lines from each unit.
• The Contractor must dispose of the existing units as per current Environmental Regulations.
• The Contractor is responsible for any Locates necessary for the installation of the new units.
• The Contractor must supply, install, and commission new compressors, evaporators, coil sections, condensers, supply, return and control lines for two
new units.
• The Contractor must provide replacement units of like quality and size to the existing units: Trane Model #TTA 180BW00BA – two (2) stages of 7.5T.

Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within twelve (12) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
