As this is an Indigenous Limited Bidding process, only Indigenous businesses that are listed on SA EP745-230361 and that provide a completed Indigenous Eligibility Certification are eligible to be awarded a contract. However, there may be an opportunity for non-Indigenous businesses to participate in a bid by joint venturing with one or more Indigenous businesses if they are listed on this specific SA.
Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada's (HICC), previously Infrastructure Canada (INFC), Community Policy and Programs Branch (CPPB) produces a high volume of information for both internal and external audiences. Products must often be made available in both English and French. They may include, but are not limited to: briefing materials, research papers, reports, program administration materials (incl. guidelines, communications products, application forms etc.), presentation decks, speeches, materials for Parliamentary proceedings, and briefing materials for Cabinet or Treasury Board meetings.
At times, when the Translation Bureau is unable to meet departmental deadlines, additional resources may be needed to provide timely service. External service providers are therefore called upon when required and on an "as needed" basis. There would be no minimum work guaranteed by week or by month. Requests may also be last-minute and urgent in nature.
This requirement is for the provision of translation services, from both English-to-French and French-to-English, of work in the field of CPPB/HICC as and when requested.
