INVITATION TO TENDER Sealed Tenders, addressed to: Fisheries and Oceans, Canada TENDER SUBMISSION c/o Natural Resources Canada 1350 Regent Street Fredericton NB E3C 2G6 and marked: Tender F5211-130179 TOWER REPLACEMENT ON AMHERST ISLAND will be received up to: THURSDAY, 3rd OCTOBER 2013 2:00 p.m. Atlantic time (1:00 p.m. Eastern), Nature of Work: The existing Navigational Aid Structure needs to be demolished and a New Navigational Aid Structure needs to be constructed on Amherst Island. This requirement includes, but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to: Fabricate on new steel aid to navigation tower; transport the tower to designated staging location for coating application and transport to project site for erection; foundation to be completed and installed; evacuation and removal of contaminated soils exceed legal standards, including transportation to a licensed facility; back fill and supply clean fill material; and restoration of Coast Guard and private property to pre-construction conditions, including the supply and install of topsoil.
