Notice of Proposed Procurement Item Required: Duty Belt, Black, Accessories The RCMP's Uniform & Equipment Program has a requirement for Duty Belt Accessories; a firm quantity of 2500 Pouches, Handcuff, Leather, 2500 Holders, Defense Spray, Leather, 2750 Rings, Flashlight, Leather, 1000 Holders, Minilight, Leather, 2750 Pouches, Double Mag Leather and 12,000 Keepers, Belt, Leather. In addition there is an optional quantity of 1,000 Pouches, Handcuff, Leather, 1,000 Holders, Defense Spray, Leather, 1,000 Ring, Flashlight, Leather, 1,000 Pouches, Double Mag, Leather, 500 Holders, Minilight, Leather and 4000 Keepers, Belt, Leather. All optional quantities can be exercised within 24 months of contract award. All quantities are to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario. The firm quantity is requested to be delivered 45 days following approval of the pre-production sample. This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with the following RCMP Specifications: G.S. 1045-259B dated 2013-08-15, G.S.1045-259C dated 2013-08-15, G.S. 1045-259D dated 2013-08-15, G.S. 1045-259E dated 2013-08-15, G.S. 1045-259F dated 2013-08-15, G.S. 1045-259G dated 2014-05-05 and viewing samples. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP. The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample. This requirement is subject to AIT. This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
