Item Required: Belt, waist, leather The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of three thousand, one hundred and fifty (3150) belt, waist, leather. This requirement also includes flexible stock ("as and when requested" regular sizes) quantity of up to five hundred (500) belt, waist, leather, which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. This requirement also includes an “as and when requested” quantity of up to fifteen (15) made-to-measure belt, waist, leather (specials) which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to purchase belt, waist, leather under the same terms and conditions and at the price(s) in the resulting contract. The optional quantity may only be exercised for up to a maximum of one thousand (1000) belt, waist, leather which can be ordered within 24 months of contract award. This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-122 dated 2015-07-03, and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP. The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample. This requirement is subject to AIT. This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
