Hoist Replacement Green Island, Trinity Bay (Catalina), NL
Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 2:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time: April 26 2016 for the attached services in accordance with the documents enclosed.

Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Tenders may be revised by email, letter or fax (613) 991-1297, provided the tender and revision(s) are both received prior to Tender Closing Time.
Nature of the Work:
The work shall include the replacement of the hoist and trolley at the Trinity Bay Lightstation.

Green Island, Trinity Bay Lightstation (Catalina), NL
Start Date: Upon Contract Award
Completion Date: All work to be completed by July 31st, 2016
Personal Security Clearance Requirements: None
An Optional Site Visit has been scheduled for April 19th 2016 at 10:30am (NDT). Please confirm your attendance to Melissa Saumure by email at melissa.saumure@dfo-mpo.gc.ca by April 15th, 2016. The site visit will only occur if contractors have contacted the Contracting Officer (Melissa Saumure) to confirm their attendance. The contractors will meet the Project Authority in a Gravel Pit at the end of Sea View Dr, Catalina,NL. Where they will be picked up by a CCG Helicopter and flown to Green Island. The island is less than a mile offshore so emersion suits will not be required. See the attachment titled Mobilization Point for a map and GPS coordinates. If no one contacts Melissa to confirm their attendance it will be assumed a site visit is not necessary to accurately bid on this requirement.

Bidders should note that all questions regarding this request for proposals must be submitted in writing, No Later Than April 20, 2016, 2:00 pm EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME to the contract authority. The department may be unable to respond to questions submitted after that date.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada will not necessarily accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to reject any and all tenders received which shall be final and at the sole discretion of the Department.
