This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada – Quebec Region - of the following Institutions: Federal Training Center, site 600 and site 6099, Donnacona Institution, Joliette Institution, Archambault Institution Minimum, Archambault Institution Medium and Cowansville Institution.
Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement.

Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
CSC wishes to obtain subscriber services of a cable or satellite television service provider for all cells and common rooms for its seven (7) Institutions. The services include the equipment, installation, programming and maintenance of the cable or satellite system providing access to basic channels, specialty channels, and Super Écran 1, 2 and 4, identified in section 1.4 "Deliverables" of this Annex.
These services are paid for entirely by the inmates (Inmate committee). This contract does not cost the government anything.
Objectives: To provide a cable or satellite television service for all cells and common rooms for seven (7) Institutions of the CSC.
Deliverables:
It should be noted that the use of wireless equipment in the buildings is not allowed.
Television signals must be distributed according to the number of outlets of each Institution for the basic package and for a minimum of ten (10) speciality channels chosen by the Inmate Committee
The period of the Contract is from June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018 inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional periods of 24 months.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
