The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the supply of one (1) Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) device with the option to purchase additional quantities at any time before 31/Dec/2019. This requirement is to provide the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) a non-invasive Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) device to use for diagnosis and disease management in retina, glaucoma and anterior segment population. There is also a requirement to purchase a motorized table for the OCT, high resolution color monitor, computer system, with applicable software to process, visualize and retrieve images, laser printer and OCT operator training. For each OCT device, the Contractor must provide a minimum one (1) year warranty with an option to purchase up to an additional two (2) one year warranty periods at any time before 31 Dec 2019. In addition, the Contractor must provide a minimum one (1) day onsite training course, delivered in French, for a minimum of three (3) Ophthalmologist technicians within four (4) weeks of delivery of the OCT. The OCT device must meet certain regulatory specifications/standards/certifications which are detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
