Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
Correctional Service Canada has an annual requirement for testing, inspection and certification of fire alarm and fire protection systems at eight institutions, one Regional Supply Depot and one Community Correctional Centre.
Objectives: The annual testing and certification of all nine aspects of the fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA 10, 14, 17, 17A, 25, 72, 96, CAN/ULC S536 and CAN/ULC S552, NFC 2015 and CSA B64.10.1-11.
Deliverables:
Provision of all labour, parts and materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to provide an annual test for all nine aspects of the Fire Protection Systems as follows including:
main fire alarm system and all components/devices;
wet, dry, and pre action fire sprinkler systems;
emergency lighting and exit signs in all buildings;
fire extinguishers;
fire hydrants;
back flow back flow prevention assemblies;
fire hoses;
kitchen hood(s) chemical sprinkler suppression system (semi annually);

The Work is to be performed during the period of June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2019, with option to extend up to one additional one year period under the same conditions.
