Provision of Booth Space in the Canadian Pavilion at the Seoul Food and Hotel (SFH) 2018 Trade Show, Korea

The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (Trade Show Strategy and Delivery) has a requirement for the provision of booth space and enhancements in the Canadian Pavilion at the Seoul Food and Hotel (SFH) 2018 Trade Show in Seoul, Korea. The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the government's intention to award a contract for these services to:

The resulting contract will be valid from date of contract award extending to May 31, 2018.

Estimate of Costs:

It is intended to award a service contract to the supplier for an amount of $60,000.00 CAD taxes non-applicable.

Requirements/Deliverables:

The contract will include the purchase of four booths in the Canadian Pavilion. The booths will be finished and furnished (i.e. turn-key). The contract will also include graphic enhancements to the pavilion using the “Canada Brand”. The booths will be available for set up on the prescribed date and time to allow for preshow set up. They will be maintained and serviced throughout the event, and tear down will be the responsibility of the contractor.

The Contractor will deliver the following to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at the Seoul Food and Hotel 2018 Trade Show May 1^st – 4^th, 2018:

• Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada require four (4) - 9sqm Booths at Seoul Food and Hotel 2018 with appropriate overhead Canada Branding comfortably within the existing mix of Canadian exhibitors anticipated to attend the event.
• Floor space and design, installation and dismantle of four (4) turn-key finished and furnished 9sqm booths
• The Contractor will provide Booth Enhancements including the following:

Plywood tower construction, digital printed tower graphics, LED back lit fascia signage, glass top, lockable cabinets, extensive increased spot light down lighting tower structure, under carpet padding, custom bar/counter in lounge, couches, a coffee table, bistro tables and bar stools in the lounge along with a privacy / entrance restricted wall for the lounge.

Location of Work: All work and assembly required will take place at the Contractor’s place of business. The services will be delivered to the following location:

Korea International Exhibition & Convention Center - Kintex,

Seoul, Korea.

217-60, Kintex-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea – HALL 4

Minimum Essential Qualifications:

To fulfill the requirements of the contract, any interested supplier must demonstrate by way of a statement of capabilities that they meet the following minimum requirements:

• To fulfill the requirements of the contract the person or firm must be authorized by event organizers to sell contiguous booth space at Seoul Food and Hotel 2018, within a large pre-existing contingent of Canadian exhibitors in a branded Canadian Pavilion. 
• The supplier must be able to provide Agriculture and Agri-food Canada with:

a) the necessary booth space requirements (four (4) – 9sqm turn-key finished and furnished booths) and enhancements at Korea International Exhibition & Convention Center – Kintex; and

b) Within the necessary pre-existing structure “Canadian Pavilion” in Seoul, Korea.
