REQUIREMENT
RCMP K Division Applied Technology Unit requires a service contract that will furnish all necessary labour, supervision, transportation, material, tools and equipment to provide inspection and preventative maintenance services on the propane generators located at twenty-one (21) radio Sites, in accordance with Annex A – Scope of Work, in the Province of Alberta.
TERM OF CONTRACT: The period of the Contract is from date of award for a twelve (12) month period and an irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods under the same terms and conditions.
The RCMP is looking to establish one contract as defined in Annex “A” Statement of Work in the Invitation to Tender.
Optional Site Visit: It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit a work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of one of the work sites. The site visit will be held on June 25th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Standard Time) at the Bremner Repeater Site located at NW-33-52-22 W4, Ardrossan, AB.
INQUIRIES: All enquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature, are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority: Sandra E. Robinson, by email at sandra.robinson@rcmp-grc.gc.ca .
All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
As per the Standard Instruction, Clauses and Conditions 2003 (2017-04-27) contained in the ITT:
Canada will make available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS). Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments, including significant enquiries received and their replies, using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
