This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W6369-17-A005 dated 02 January 2018, with a closing of 14 February 2018, at 02:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION
The Canadian Forces Health Services Group has a requirement to procure Calibration Services for a variety of Biomedical Engineering Technologist (BE Tech) medical test equipment and simulation devices, as well as a requirement to procure repair services for Preventive Medicine Technician (PMED) devices at various detachments across Canada.
The Canadian Forces Health Services Group (CF H Svcs Gp) currently has in excess of 180 individual items /instruments from various equipment manufacturers, as detailed in Appendix 1, located across the BE Tech detachments listed in Appendix 2 which will require annual calibration.
In addition, CF H Svcs Gp PMED test equipment, as detailed in Appendix 3, will require repair on ‘an as and when required basis’ requested under a DND 626 Task authorization.
CONTRACT PERIOD
The period of any resulting contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2021, with an irrevocable option on the part of Canada to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
SECURITY REQUIREMENT

For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
