Description of Work:
The objectives of this project are to a) replace the existing parking lot pavement and drainage system, b) replace pathways around the site washroom, and c) reinstate the abandoned driveway connecting the maintenance building directly to Granville Rd. The excavation for this project will be approximately 450mm under all the asphalt to build a proper base that will be approximately 2500m2. Excavation where the pipes are located will be approximately 2m below grade and excavation where the catch basins are located will be 2.6m below grade. Two culverts will be required to reinstate the driveway. The work will take place in previously disturbed areas. Anticipated impacts include adding a structure to a fish bearing waterway, ground disturbance and the trimming and/or removal of approximately 13 trees.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Delivery Date:
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2020.
Bid Security:
Is required. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $ 1,000,000, Taxes extra.
