REQUIREMENT:
The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Beaverlodge Research Farm at 720 Research Road, Beaverlodge, AB has a requirement for a company or individual to provide labour, parts and material, tools and equipment, and transportation for Heavy Duty Mechanic Services on agricultural field equipment on an "as and when requested" basis.
The company must be available during regular working hours via phone or cell number to provide a Journeyman Mechanic, on site, for any emergency services (such as a deficiency or breakdown of equipment) within 2 hours. All other routine maintenance service requests will be coordinated with the Facility Manager or his designate.
SERVICES:
The type of "as requested" services includes (but is not limited to):
• Routine maintenance and servicing of agricultural field equipment (such as tractors, combines, swathers, mowers, rototillers, augers, etc.);
• Trouble shooting and repairs (including emergency services for deficiencies/ breakdowns) to all agricultural field equipment;
• Occasional modification of plot equipment.
A detailed description of the services can be found in the RFSO documents, Appendix B. Canada anticipates awarding a Standing Offer July 20, 2019 for One (1) year with an option to extend for up to Three (3) additional One (1) year option years.
