Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for waste disposal of all non-hazardous solid waste and recyclable materials from federal institutional sites located in the Kingston area.
Objectives: The contractor must operate a fully licensed landfill and / or transfer facility for waste management disposal in the Province of Ontario.
Deliverables: The contractor must provide a valid copy of the Ministry of the Environment issued certificate of approval to accept institutional non-hazardous solid waste.
The contractor must provide a weigh bill for every load delivered to the site for disposal identifying the type of waste being delivered. All weight bills must be duly initialled at the time of drop off.
The contractor must invoice price per metric tonne for non-hazardous waste disposal, cardboard, mixed fibre, commingled recycle material (cans and plastic) and any additional fee that may apply per tonnage or per drop off, if applicable.

Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
