5P420-20-0096 – Heavy Equipment and Operator Services for the Yukon Field Unit - Parks Canada Agency

REQUIREMENT

The Parks Canada Agency requires heavy equipment and qualified operator services for construction project support at multiple Parks locations in the Yukon on an as and when required basis.

Equipment and required services include but are not limited to:

  • Crane Services - Heavy lifting of machinery and components;
  • Rigging - Removing large steel cables at heights by spooling;
  • Transportation - hauling large loads.
  • Earthworks - including but not limited to excavation, digging, backfilling, and soil compaction.

Planned work locations:

  • Whitehorse (S.S. Klondike NHS)
  • Dawson City (Dredge No. 4 NHS & Bear Creek Compound)
  • Haines Junction (Kluane National Park and Reserve)

Period of Contract

The period of the Contract will be from date of Contract to March 31, 2022 inclusive, with options to extend services to March 31, 2023 and 2024, if required.

INFORMATION

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
