AHS has over 4,700 Physiological devices located across the province. AHS estimates we may need as many as 1,600 net new devices in the future, 300 devices are coming to end of life within the next 2 (two) years. These devices are used in various settings of patient acuity including high and low levels for both Adult and Pediatric including neonatal patients. AHS is seeking information to assist AHS in making a determination on how best to move forward to procure services and technology pertaining physiological monitors to enable comprehensive physiological monitoring for deployment across the province of Alberta.
