    Description
    1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors. 2. The City of Calgary (The City), on behalf of The Police Information Check Team (PICT) of the Calgary Police Service (CPS) requires an off the shelf software solution to allow Calgary residents to apply online for their Police Information Check (PIC). 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Term of Agreement information The Agreement for Phase One will be for an initial term of three (3) years. Phase One of the Agreement will also include a Proof of Concept (PoC) phase of approximately sixty (60) days. The PoC will consist of testing in a controlled live environment for both internal and external users and for the entire system processes from creation to audit and reporting. See Appendix F for more information about the PoC. The agreement may be renewed to facilitate ongoing maintenance and support outlined in Phase Two for a period of three (3) years. This term may be renewed for two (2) additional three (3) year term, not to exceed a maximum of twelve years (12) for both Phase 1 and 2.
