Description
The WCB is seeking a Contractor to complete a Residential Home Modification Project in Carstairs, Alberta as per the specifications and drawings contained in this IFB. The project will consist of: 1. Garage Modifications – A new porch lift will be added into the garage, complete with a new landing and stairs. 2. Main Floor Modifications – Modifications will be made to the master bedroom, the second bedroom, master ensuite and family bathroom as well as the den and kitchen areas. New flooring, doors and painting will be added as presented on the drawings. 3. Kitchen Modifications – A new fully wheelchair accessible kitchen will replace the existing kitchen. 4. New Residential Elevator – A new residential elevator will be supplied and installed into the existing den area of the home. 5. New Fully Wheelchair Accessible Master Ensuite – This new bathroom will come complete with a curbless wheel-in shower area. 6. Basement Modifications – Modifications will include a new laundry area, new flooring, doors, and painting as presented in the drawings. 7. New Porch Lift at the Existing Back Deck – This will be supplied and installed at the back deck. 8. Site Modifications – A new concrete sidewalk will be poured to connect the back deck area with the front sidewalk area.
