City of Calgary - Request for Proposal - Data Center Raised Floor and Non-Raised Floor Cleaning and Repairs (24-1559)

1. Open or Prequalification: Open or Invitational Competitive Opportunity Open This RFP is open to all interested vendors. 2. Description of Procurement The City of Calgary, Information Technology, is seeking proposals from experienced Proponents to provide raised and non-raised floor cleaning and repair at four (4) separate City of Calgary Information Technology data centers. The total area is approximately 20,750 square feet across all data center locations. The Supplier will be expected to provide all required supervision, labour, tools, safety equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete all assigned work. All service work must be completed in a timely manner and maintain an acceptable level of quality. Servicing will be conducted on a monthly, semi annual and annual basis for cleaning and an as-needed basis for floor repairs, replacements and relocations. All work shall be accomplished taking special consideration of the computer processing environment. The Proponent should be aware that all work takes place in and around expensive and critical computer equipment. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Agreement Term Unless specified otherwise elsewhere in the Information Table under Agreement(s), Terms, Renewal and Proof of Concept (PoC), it is The City’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the Agreement will be for initial term of one (1) year and may be renewed for up to three (3) times for two (2) years each time.
