Description
Undertake a study of the Smoky Lake Region’s land base in order to identify important agricultural, ecological and cultural/scenic resources at a municipal scale, for the purpose of using this data to develop a regional Municipal Land Use Suitability Tool (MLUST). The primary purpose of the Project is to inventory the Region’s land base to determine which areas of the Region are most suitable for largescale developments, in order to allow for the most efficient use of agricultural land, while at the same time, protecting important environmental, ecological and cultural resources, and also facilitating sustainable economic development.

The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/06/17.
