1- This RFQ is open only to those Prequalified Parties who have received notification from The City prior to Quote Submission that they are prequalified for Prime Contractor for Safety status in the following category or categories: Road Construction C7000000 To view the list of pre-qualified firms, visit https://www.calgary.ca/CA/fs/Documents/Bid-and-Vendor-Information/PrequalifiedContractors.pdf 2- The project consists of mobility improvements to 2nd Ave NW and 7th Ave NW Corridor including traffic calming measures and wheeling lanes. It will also include mobility improvements for the 3 Ave NW Corridor including widened sidewalks on both sides of the road to accommodate increased pedestrian movements between Kensington and the Sunnyside LRT. 3- This procurement process is not intended to create, and will not create a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4- Scheduled Operational Date based on Locations: 2025-06-30 5- Important Note: Actual Closing Date for this RFQ is July 7th, 2024. However, due to APC Website upgrades, APC is closing their website between June 8th and 11th. Therefore, this RFQ will be closed in APC on June 7th,
