Description
The objective of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select an Engineering Consultant to provide engineering services for all or part of the Project components and will include all work. required for two Class II Landfills, four Transfer Stations and three closed Landfills. The Project will include the following tasks, but not be limited to: • Develop / Update Integrated Landfill Management Plans for two landfills; • Oversee and Conduct the Groundwater Monitoring program for nine sites which currently have monitoring wells and historical data; • Analyse and Implement remediation plans for groundwater exceedances to comply with legislation; • Develop Operational, Contingency and Monitoring Plans to the respective legislations (Standards for Landfills in Alberta and Code Of Practice for Landfills In Alberta); • Develop Surface Water Runoff Action Plans; • Develop site life expectancies and volumetric surveys; • To work with the County’s designated contact on all matters of compliance with regulatory legislation and agencies.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/08/01.
