Description
The Lesser Slave Lake Regional Waste Management Services Commission is run by the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River. In the summer of 2024, the Lesser Slave Lake Regional Waste Management Services Commission (LSLRWMSC, referred to as the “Commission”) is constructing an enhanced “Regional Recycling Hub” at its Regional Landfill. As part of this project, the Commission will be purchasing (either through full purchase or lease) a horizontal, industrial sized recycling baler (contained within a shelter) to process recyclable material as received onsite. All four components of the household recycling stream will be collected and baled, including: paper, cardboard, plastics (all types) and tin. The Commission is seeking possibilities for various balers available on the market (either new or re-built) that meet the minimum specifications listed within this tender, and is exploring this through leasing options.
