Description
The intent of this project is to revise the walkout basement wall (north wall) to a permanent wood foundation
system with use of pressure treated wood framing to allow for future raised backfill (raised backfill is not in
current scope). The existing north basement wall is untreated wood framing with large windows and a
double door. A double bottom plate is currently supporting the wall framing and consists of what appears
to be a pressure treated 2x6 plate in contact with the foundation with a non-pressure treated 2x6 plate on
top. The exterior of the house includes a concrete patio under the main floor raised deck. The scope of
work is shown in attached drawings S100, S110 and S200 in Appendix B.
Base building engineering has been completed and design is provided in the drawings attached to this
scope of work. If any means and methods engineering is required, this is the responsibility of the
contractor to determine and provide as part of their scope of work.

The estimated contract period will be 1 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/10/01.
