City of Edmonton - Request for Proposal - 939401 Roofing Services

This Contract involves the provision of all labor, materials, and equipment required to perform roofing repairs, installations, inspection, and maintenance services for the City of Edmonton on an if and as required basis. In performance of the Work, the Contractor shall be required to perform roofing Services for Planned and Unplanned Work that may include: Roof inspection services, destructive and non-destructive; Snow removal for residential, and commercial roofs; Removal of an existing roof, prepare, apply, service, insulate and replace roofs; Flat roof maintenance and repairs; Sloped roof maintenance and repairs; Replacement of tiled shingles, including, but not limited to cedar shake, cedar shingle roofs, clay, concrete, steel, fiberglass, cement fiber, or similar material; Provide damp-proofing and/or waterproofing for roofs including preparing, servicing, and applying waterproofing materials; Install and repair vapor barriers and insulation whether flat or sloped; Installation of: pipes, drains, curbs, sleepers, scuppers, roof hatches, skylights, solar tubes; Eavestrough maintenance, repair or replacement including cleaning of down pipes; Sheet metal maintenance, repair or replacement; Roof flashing repair or replacement; Roof deck repair or replacement; Installation and inspection of walkway systems; Installation and inspection of permanent and/or temporary guardrails system; and Execute miscellaneous small to medium scale stand-alone projects, as required. The Work to be performed by the successful bidder is outlined in the Description of Work document attached to the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba platform.
