Description
The Work generally consists of the repairs and modernization upgrades of three (3) hydraulic elevators which are approximately 30-35 years of age. The scope includes the following items, which will take place at the Lakeland College Vermilion, AB Campus. - On site inspection of existing elevator equipment and site conditions. - Repairs and modernization upgrades as listed in the scope of work. - Inspection testing upon completion to the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. Portions of the scope may be phased to be completed over the course of 2-4 years. The owner may choose to award the entire scope or a portion of the scope at their discretion based on annual budgetary constraints. Proponents may bid the entire scope, or a portion of the scope if they are unable to bid the complete scope. Preference will be for a single contractor to complete the full scope as described for all elevators. Note that the owner currently has active service contracts with TKE for the maintenance of the elevators. The Contractor shall notify the service contractors of the scope of work and estimated project schedule. The Contractor shall coordinate with the service contractor as needed while completing the upgrades.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 11 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/08/23.
