Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Town of Stony Plain (the “Town”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Water Meter Replacement Program Consulting Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Town is seeking a qualified consultant to provide their services for the Water Meter Replacement Program. Through the Water Meter Replacement Program, the Town plans to replace its fleet of aging water meters, both to address water loss and move to Automated Meter Reading (AMR) or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) levels of functionality. The consultant services will consist of two (2) phases: Phase 1 – research, recommendations, and the selection of technology; Phase 2 – tendering process for the water meter replacement. Note: This procurement is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
