Alberta Parks requires a professional TRAQ Qualified Tree Risk Assessment service contractor to provide Hazard Tree Assessment and tree marking services to Provincial Parks and Provincial Recreation Areas in Central Alberta.
We estimate approximately 40-50 parks and recreation areas will be assessed through the term of this contract. The following parks are examples of likely locations that will need to be addressed in the next three years for Hazard Tree Management:
• Aspen Beach Provincial Park
• Pigeon Lake Provincial Park
• Carson-Pegasus Provincial Park
• William A. Switzer Provincial Park
• Dillberry Lake Provincial Park
• Vermilion Provincial Park
• Thompson Creek Provincial Recreation Area
Park assignments will be grouped geographically for maximum efficiency and may include some small sites in the vicinity of parks noted above if the need is identified.

Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 31 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/08/19.
