    Description
    Sealed Tenders, clearly marked as to content, will be received by Engineering Department, Wetaskiwin Operations Building, 5520 - 50 St, Wetaskiwin, Alberta, T9A 0G9 up to 2:00:00 pm local time on Thursday, July 18, 2024, for the "40 Avenue - Sanitary CIPP Project, City of Wetaskiwin". The time will be conclusively determined using the National Research Council of Canada Webclock at http://time5.nrc.ca/webclocke.shtml. All tenders will be EVALUATED, see section 00 21 13 for instructions. The final results will not be released by the City. The Work to be undertaken is generally described as 40 Avenue - Sanitary CIPP Project in the City of Wetaskiwin and includes the following scope of work: • Mobilization and Demobilization 1 • Temporary Fencing and Traffic Control 1 • Sanitary Sewer Preparation 515 l.m. • Full Segment Sanitary Sewer CIPP Lining - 250mm diameter 170 l.m. • Full Segment Sanitary Sewer CIPP Lining - 300mm diameter 345 l.m. • Sewer Connection Reinstatement 17 • Construction Completion Certificate - Pre-cleaning and CCTV Inspection 515 l.m. • Final Acceptance Certification - Pre-cleaning and CCTV Inspection 515 l.m. Substantial Completion Date is October 1, 2024. Starting 2:00:00 pm, local time, Thursday, June 27, 2024, Tender Documents and Drawings may be obtained in an electronic version from Alberta Purchasing Connection at https://purchasing.alberta.ca. Bidders must regularly check Alberta Purchasing Connection for addendums. Vendors are completely responsible for ensuring that their bids reach the correct final location prior to the bid submission deadline. Fax, email and other non hard copy forms of bids or amendments WILL NOT be accepted. A bid bond or certified cheque for the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price is to accompany each Tender. Submission of a Tender by the Bidder gives the City the right to require the Bidder to execute the Contract and to perform the Work as set out within the Tender Documents. Tenders may not be withdrawn at or after the Tender submittal deadline and will be irrevocable and open for acceptance by the City for a period of sixty (60) days following the Tender submittal deadline. The bidder acknowledges and will be willing to accept the role of prime contractor pursuant to the occupational health and safety act requirements and by submission of a bid acknowledges that it has the capability of fulfilling this requirement. The City reserves the right, without prejudice, to reject any or all Tenders. Inquiries regarding the Tender Document and/or Drawings shall be by email only and directed to engineering@wetaskiwin.ca. The deadline for contractor questions will be received up to 2:00:00pm, Thursday, July 11, 2024. Any questions received after this time will remain unanswered
