Description
The purpose of the Garden River Flood Study is to assess and identify open water and ice jam flood hazards along the Peace River and Garden Creek through Mackenzie County, Improvement District No. 24, and the Little Red River Cree Nation community of Garden River, which is located within Wood Buffalo National Park. The study will be completed under the provincial FHIP, the goals of which include enhancement of public safety and reduction of future flood damages through the identification of flood hazards.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 19 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/08/26.
