Description
The University of Calgary intends to establish a contract with CRB Canada to conduct a feasibility study and conceptual design of a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant CAR-T cell therapies manufacturing facility of approximately 2000 square feet within an approximately 8000 square foot academic lab. The initial contract term will be for one (1) year with one (1) year extension option.
The space created must be compliant with Health Canada regulations for manufacturing Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell products and other cell therapies as well as current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), current Good Tissue Practice, and sections 351 and 362 of the Public Health Services Act, regulating human cells, tissues, and cellular- and tissue-based products. The space will include four EU Grade C cleanrooms.
