Description
A review of the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) is intended to look at core functions of the organization that provide value to all provincial and territorial members. Recommendations will need to consider a transition from the current state to a desired future state, including the relationship of Provinces and Territories (“PT”) to the CMEC and its Secretariat, performance metrics, and management mechanisms to ensure the effective functioning of the CMEC Secretariat and a functional governance system for PTs to make timely trade-off decisions related to collective work. A third-party consultant will be contracted to provide advice and recommendations to provincial and territorial members regarding the CMEC Secretariat and the activities of CMEC.
