    Description
Pocaterra Cirque Trail & Pocaterra Ridge Trail are both located in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park (PLPP) in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. Both unofficial Pocaterra routes have been popular destinations for decades, but usage has exploded over the past five years. Increased visitation to Pocaterra Ridge and Pocaterra Cirque Trails has resulted in site degradation, public safety issues, trail braiding, congestion and ineffective visitor flow. In response to these pressures, Parks Division developed high level plans to upgrade facilities including wayfinding and signage, reclamation and overall trail improvements (the Project). The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to provide detailed trail design, secure approvals, prepare tender documents and perform project management and construction monitoring services for the redevelopment of Pocaterra Cirque and Pocaterra Ridge Trails as outlined within this RFP. Refer to Request for Proposal (RFP) document for complete background and project information.
