Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Airdrie (the “City”) on behalf if the Airdrie Public Library (APL) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Supply, Delivery, and Install of Furniture - Public Seating as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
As part of the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) scope of work, the City requires a qualified furniture vendor to supply, deliver and install different loose furniture products including chairs, tables, sofas, and ottomans required for the new AMUFL facility. This scope of work includes the items specified in the following sections and appendices of this Request for Proposal. It shall include all the materials, labour, equipment, and services necessary for the production, shipping, and installation of all specified scope of work and itemized on the drawings.
The selected proponent should expect to begin work immediately on execution of the agreement and follow the following timeline:
Shop Drawings/ Samples Submission November- December 2024
Production January- June 2025
Delivery to Site and Installation July- August 2025
Facility Opening September 2025
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 9 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/11/04.
