Description
Bruker Mass Spectrometer (Impact II) (Refurbished), 4 years of service/maintenance and training. The department currently owns three Bruker QTOF mass spectrometers for sample analysis. Purchasing the same QTOF model is crucial for maintaining consistent performance and data format, ensuring that if one system is down, the other can generate data of equivalent quality. The data produced must be compatible and processed using the same software. If different models from different vendors are used, data formats and processing software would differ, complicating data integration. The department will benefit from purchasing the refurbished mass spectrometer and maintenance from Bruker as it will integrate with existing equipment and ensure data compatibility.
