    Description
    The Province is seeking a contractor to construct and implement a new centre-wide WiFi System, which delivers reliable and consistent services for Users within the Calgary Remand Centre (CRC). The Province, in its discretion, may also request the successful Proponent construct and implement new centre-wide WiFi Systems for LCC, MHRC, CYOC/CAFA and/or CCC where agreed upon by the parties, construction and implementation of Systems within multiple Correctional Facilities overlap for early completion of the Project. The successful Proponent will be required to construct and implement each System based on the Province’s existing design plans and schematics in accordance with the requirements of this NRFP. These design plans and schematics detail out the location and quantity of all Devices. The Province will require all organizations interested in submitting a Proposal to attend a mandatory site tour of CRC as per the date and time on the NRFP cover page. This site tour is required in order for Proponents to better understand CRC’s construction, layout and operations. Failure of a Proponent to attend will result in rejection of its Proposal. All Proponents participating in the mandatory site tour must sign, and return to the Contracting Manager, the Province’s non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on or before September 26, 2024 at 14:00:59 hours Alberta Time. Proponents will be required to comply with the Province’s special procedures to access and tour CRC, including business conduct, safety and security requirements, which will be provided upon written request by the Proponent following the signing of the NDA.

    The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/11/28.
