The City of Grande Prairie (the “City”) is requesting detailed and comprehensive proposals for an Engineering consulting firm specializing in dam, control structure, reservoir planning and management along with Provincial rules and regulations in relations to dam structures (including but not limited to: The Water Act, The Water (Ministerial) Regulation, The Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive) to provide design and Engineering services for the creation of multiple options for the long term plan for the Bear River Control Structure (BRCS) and the associated reservoir. The City would like to explore four design options in further detail to determine their feasibility and costs.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/11/06.
