Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
Major work items for this contract will include the demolition and installation of the following general items:
Travelling Bridge Scraper Assembly (2 Clarifiers)
Running rails, including stops, rail joining materials, fastenings and anchor bolts
Cog wheels,
Limit switches, including secondary safety system,
Anti-derail protection,
Bridge drive,
Control panel - bridge-mounted in NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure,
Sludge collection components, including undercarriage frames, scrapers including support frames, flights, and squeegees,
Skimmer assembly,
Electrical field wiring.
The intent of this qualification process is to allow the Town of Taber to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid for the construction of the above noted project.
Through this request for qualifications the Town of Taber seeks to ensure that companies that bid on this Contract have the experience, skill, ability, resources, bonding, integrity, and safety requirements needed to complete the specific work of this project.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 7 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/10/28.
