Description
The department requires a Multiaxial Mechanical Tester with the following functionalities for its research: (a) Indentation tester with high-resolution mapping ability (b) Digital Image Correlation (DIC) during mechanical testing (c) Closed chamber for physiological measurement (for fluid immersion or humidity control) (d) high-throughput indexation, 3D profilometry, mechanical 3D indentation/thickness mapping (e) Modularity and Upgradability: (f) Multiple Axis Functionality, including compression/tension, shear, torsion, and mechanical stimulation. After conducting market research of available products, the department has concluded that BioMomentum’s Mach-1v500css is the only product capable of meeting these functional requirements.
