    Description
    Clearview Public Schools is seeking proposals for the purchase and installation of network switches across 13 school division buildings. The successful vendor will provide and install networking switches that meet IEEE standards and support PoE+ features, multiple VLANs, and Voice VLAN configurations. The equipment must also be rack-mountable and integrate with the existing network setup. Key requirements include configuring the equipment, testing connectivity, and verifying protocols. The vendor is responsible for the installation, configuration, and optional removal of existing switches. In addition to the hardware, the vendor should provide training to IT staff and offer warranty and replacement services. Clearview will provide necessary technical details such as IP addressing, VLAN information, and network diagrams. The proposal must include a breakdown of costs, references from recent similar projects, and detailed descriptions of the company’s experience, methodology, and management controls. The proposal deadline is October 15, 2024, with a final decision expected by October 31, 2024. Proposals must be submitted via email and include both technical and financial details, with pricing expressed in Canadian dollars.
