University of Alberta - Request for Proposal - Lockdown Browser and Remote Proctoring Software Solution
Solicitation number AB-2024-08506
Publication date
Closing date and time 2024/10/10 10:00 EDT
Description
The University administers more than 200,000 exams/quizzes each year. Over 60,000 of those exams are digital exams administered annually through eClass (Moodle), our current enterprise learning management system. These exams are secured with a locally developed lock down browser and a vendor supplied monitoring/proctoring tool to proctor remote off campus exams. The University is now in the process of transitioning away from our current Moodle LMS eClass, to our new LMS, Canvas, as our enterprise platform, and has recently introduced a new online strategy that will see the University’s online presence grow over the next few years.
The University is inviting both solution providers and solution implementation specialists, with demonstrated experience with lockdown browser and remote proctoring software, to submit Proposals to the University. It is our intent to issue a contract for one (1) to three (3) year(s), with the option to renew.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 0 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/11/14.
