The key objectives of the Water Storage Opportunities Study are to:
- Systematically identify, review, and assess potential locations where water storage infrastructure could be developed that would help meet the province's long-term water needs, support economic development and maintain health aquatic environments.
- Create a framework for prioritizing water storage opportunities based on the GoA priorities and strategic needs.
- Provide decision-makers with a ranked list of water storage opportunities with comprehensive descriptions that include, but are not limited to, the history, status, viability, benefits, costs, risks and uncertainties of each opportunity.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/10/25.
