Description
The University of Alberta (“The University”) requires the services of a professional conference organizer (“PCO”) for the World Conference of Timber Engineering (“WCTE”), scheduled to take place on August 16-19, 2027. The successful Proponent will be required to provide comprehensive conference management and support services for the University. Tasks expected to be carried out by the PCO include the following: • Event Planning, Logistics, and Support (Winter 2024 – Summer 2027) • Technical and AV Support • Program Management • Exhibition and Sponsorship Management • Marketing and Promotion (Summer 2025) • Abstract Submission, Website Creation, and Management (Summer 2025 - Fall 2026) • Coordination with IUFRO Organizers • Finance Management • Post-Event Services

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 37 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/11/01.
