Issue Date: September 30, 2024 NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT Issued by: Agriculture Financial Services Corporation NPP #: 0711 NPP TITLE: World Weather Inc. CLOSING: October 4, 2024 AFSC BUYER: Kathy Walker Description: Sole source is proposed to World Weather Inc. for Providing Long Range Weather Forecasting, for Agriculture Financial Services Corporation. World Weather is a weather forecasting and analysis company that is focused on agriculture around the world. The Contract will commence February 1, 2025 and shall be reviewed/renewed annually unless terminated earlier. The Service/products will be used until such time as AFSC’s business needs change. The annual estimated cost is approximately $10,000 CAD. During the Contract, AFSC: a) may purchase more Goods or Services than the estimated value, or b) may purchase less Goods or Services than the estimated value, and c) is not obligated to purchase any Goods or Services. All questions relative to this notice must be directed to the AFSC Buyer, at RFP@afsc.ca. This procurement is subject to Chapter 5 (Procurement) of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Article 14: Procurement of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA).
